Student Journey at Age 18

The following sections outline the main steps a student aged 17/18 takes through Morrisby. If the Morrisby assessments have not already been taken, this should be your first step.

Information Gathering

If students already have a Morrisby account and have previously taken the assessments, they should now take the ‘Study Interests’ questionnaire to assist with decisions about the future if they are considering staying in education. The answers from this will be combined with the previous aptitude results and suitable subjects for further study will be suggested. We link to the UCAS and EUNICAS databases suggesting courses in the UK and Europe.

Self Discovery

Suggested study/apprenticeship areas are listed in order of suitability - each being a link through to further information about that area including a list of institutions in the UK and Europe who offer these courses. Course suggestions can be filtered by location, type of course and expected grades.

Personal Statement

It is possible to create a Personal Statement within a Morrisby account. Guidance on how to do this is available as is a word count facility. It is also possible to share this with your tutor who can suggest changes which you can either accept or decline.
