Student Journey at Age 13/14

The following sections outline the main steps a student aged 13/14 takes through Morrisby. The site tailors itself to the student's current situation, so not all sections will be shown to all users, and the sections tailor themselves to the student and school. Students can elect to take different routes through after completing the initial questionnaire, and are likely to want to go back and forth across the site as they build their career plan. Once the student reaches the age of 15, access will be given to our full suite of aptitude assessments and questionnaires at no additional cost.

Information Gathering

The student starts their careers journey by completing a short questionnaire. Their answers give an insight into where their interests lie and start to build up a profile of the student, which provides the basis for the suggestions that are presented later.

Self Discovery

The student is shown their profile, which helps them understand their most suitable career interests, work style, and workplace preferences. This helps them appreciate how their unique make-up can fit into the world of employment.

Career Suggestions

The student's unique profile is analysed against more than 600 careers and the closest matches are highlighted for further investigation. They can be 'favourited' by the student or replaced with closer matches. Any qualification discrepancies are shown and students may change the highest level of qualification they expect to achieve. This illustrates to students how important their school qualifications are in achieving their goals and career aspirations.
