Morrisby Profile (MP)
The Morrisby Profile is an integrated assessment of aptitudes and working styles. Although the scores on the assessments allow clients to be compared with each other, the shape of the “profile” is used to show a client's own strengths and underlying abilities. The scientific analysis of this psychological profile provides genuine insights into potential future work performance.
Morrisby Guidance Service (MGS)
The MGS is an all embracing guidance service that is built around the Morrisby Profile. By supplementing MP results with additional study and work interests, as well as academic achievements, the MGS is able to deliver clients with the most sophisticated and in depth analysis on which to base their future careers decisions.
The MGS - Who is it for?
The service has been specifically designed to help individuals who are making important decisions about courses and careers. Advisers and school staff use the MGS in schools to assist in subject and career choice. Careers guidance professionals use the MGS to assist individuals of all ages seeking guidance or facing important decisions about their careers. Our Student and Adult MGS reports are the most comprehensive, individually tailored and objective careers guidance reports available.
The “All-Inclusive” MGS Service
The “All inclusive” service is specially developed for careers professionals working with schools and colleges, or directly by school staff. We will send you everything you need, when you need it (including pencils) and will arrange collection of completed materials after the session. We will carry out scoring and analysis, prepare Guidance Reports, Careers Adviser’s Notes, Looking Forward Guides, plus we will set up your Morrisby webspace and provide full support.
What is involved?

Career interest questionnaire (MCQ). 30 mins at home/school.

Paper and pencil assessments (MP). 12 exercises: 8 ability, 4 personal style. Taken during a profiling session.

How do we know it works?

The Morrisby Profile is regularly reviewed and registered by the Psychological Testing Centre (PTC), a division of the British Psychological Society (BPS)

How do I purchase the service?
The Morrisby Profile is offered by trained advisers all over the UK. Use our adviser search facility to find a Morrisby approved adviser near you.
I’m an adviser - How do I use the service with my clients/students?
Advisers wanting to use the MP or MGS service need to attend a short training course.
Once trained, advisers can access a host of resources: Refresher courses; email reminders about service changes and improvements; the online MorrisbyManager system, which provides access to their clients, plus additional tools and downloadable marketing resources.
