Intro to Session
Introduction to a Morrisby Test Session
Your introduction to the session should include the following points.
- A general welcome to the session
- An explanation as to the purpose of the session
- An outline of the type of exercises they will be doing, i.e. that they
- Are paper and pencil tests
- Measure different aspects of ability
- Are not like exams - there is no pass or fail
- May find some of the tests easy, and others harder
- Are not expected to finish in the time allowed
- The instructions are precise and read from the book.
- The time allowances are precise and measured with the stopwatch.
- They will be occupied for the next 3 hours 15 minutes.
- There will be a short break half way through the session of eight minutes.
- There will be an opportunity to ask questions.
They should adopt an attitude of quiet urgency, working quickly but not so fast that mistakes are bound to occur.
