Dexterity - Paper & Pencil version

Test design
This is a two part test which measures manual speed and manual skill. The first part involves hand and finger movements in which speed rather than skill contributes to a high score; the second part also involves hand and finger movements, but in this case accuracy is at a premium.

The tests come in a single 'question and answer' booklet. The booklets are non-reusable and are sold in packs of 10.
Administration
The performance time (including administration) is 4 minutes.
Age
The tests can be used with candidates from 14 years old to adult.
General population data is provided for 14 & 15 year olds; adults (16 years +), as well as educational norms for Years 11, 12 and 13. There is also data for engineering apprentices, graduates and managers.
Scoring
The sub-tests are quick to score and require no scoring keys. Results are obtained for manual speed and skill and overall manual dexterity.
