Applications
The Office Skills Series is used by a wide range of organisations for selecting people for clerical and administrative jobs as well as new entrants into commercial positions.
Materials
The Office Skills Series are paper and pencil tests presented in combined question and answer booklets. There 3 tests available are: Speed & Accuracy; Arithmetic; and English Usage.
Materials available:
- Test booklets (sold in packs of 10).
- Office Skills Series Manual.
- Individual scoring keys (Speed & Accuracy; Arithmetic; and English Usage).
- Specimen Set (includes Office Skills Series Manual, a complete set of scoring keys, and one sample of each test booklet).
Administration
The performance time for the Speed and Accuracy test is 5 minutes.
The Arithmetic test takes 10 minutes.
The English Usage test take 4 minutes to complete
Age
Suitable for those aged 16 and over.
Range
The tests can be used with candidates who have few formal qualifications.
Scoring
The tests are scored by using a series of plastic overlay scoring keys.
Training
It is not a requirement to hold a British Psychological Society Certificate
of Competence in Occupational Testing (Level A), however we would strongly
recommend that users consider training to this level.
