Our Training Courses

The Morrisby Profile battery of tests is used in various different environments and as such, our training courses have been designed to be flexible and to suit all situations.

The MP is used by careers organisations working with schools or directly by schools themselves to assist the guidance process. Our Morrisby Guidance Service (MGS), has been created specifically to help students who are making important decisions about courses and/or careers.

Other careers guidance professionals use the Morrisby Profile to assist adults seeking guidance and advice on career development. We therefore have tailor-made MGS reports and workbooks for adult clients.

The MP is also used extensively by consultants, psychologists and HR professionals for selection, assessment and professional development. Our bureau scoring service delivers a cost effective and fast solution for those looking to make quick decisions and our General Reports have been designed to provide an excellent summary of candidate performance. These services are also backed up by additional consultancy services, such as candidate grading and other professional support.

Whatever your intended use of the Morrisby Profile we have a training solution for you. Our chartered occupational psychologists deliver several training courses per year at our head office in Hemel Hempstead, but can also deliver training on site if required.

MGS Practitioner Courses - 2 days

Our 2 day courses cover all aspects of administration, interpretation and feedback. Once trained, delegates will be able to administer the tests, interpret profile results and feedback the report, using the Morrisby Guidance Service.

The Morrisby Profile battery of tests has been registered by the British Psychological Society's Psychological Testing Centre as a psychometric test of abilities and it is necessary that individuals using such tests are competent to do so. In practice, this means that users of the Morrisby Profile either need to hold a BPS Level A Certificate of Competence in Occupational Testing or, for support purposes, they need to have access to an individual with this qualification*.

* Users without access to a BPS Level A qualified individual within their organisation.
Users will be able to administer tests and feedback MGS reports. The Morrisby Organisation will provide telephone and email support on issues around the use of psychometric tests. In these circumstances the organisation will pay List Price for reports.

* Users with access to an individual in their organisation who is BPS Level A qualified and trained to use the Morrisby Profile.
Users will be able to administer tests and feedback MGS reports. In these circumstances the individual / organisation will have access to volume discounts for MGS reports.

Conversion to full Morrisby Profile

Consultants with BPS Level A and Level B who would like to use the Morrisby Profile independently will attend the above 2 day MGS Practitioner Course, but will also require an additional day to include issues such as scoring, profile determination/interpretation and producing bespoke feedback reports. The Conversion to full Morrisby Profile is our maximum level of training, and delegates will be fully competent to deliver the MP independently, without the need to use the bureau service.

Additional training to be agreed at time of booking. NB. No additional charge to the 2 day course fee, when booked with the 2 day course.

BPS Level A / B Training

For those wanting to undertake training for BPS Level A or Level B, we recommend that you contact Occupational Psychology Services Limited. Based in Sevenoaks Kent, OPS offer Level A and B courses, which involve a mixture of online and practical training.

Morrisby Practitioner (2 days)

Our 2-day training programmes include all course materials, lunch and refreshments. A small amount of post-course work prior to accreditation is required.

Refresher Training (1 day)

Delegates will be Morrisby Profile users who want a 'refresher' to update their interpretation skills / psychometric training. These seminars will revise Interpretation of the Profile and will also cover aspects of Administration, Feedback, the Morrisby Guidance Service and use of materials.

Programme includes lunch and refreshments.

NB. Delegates must have BPS Level A and Level B and have completed the 2 day Public course.
